You’ll be at the heart of one of the UK’s most ambitious defence programmes - the Type 31 Frigate Project. This is your chance to help deliver five advanced, adaptable warships for the Royal Navy, supporting missions from maritime security and humanitarian aid to operations in high-threat environments. Your work will make a real difference to national security and global stability while accelerating your career in a dynamic, innovative environment.Day-to-day you’ll be required to:Deliver key project management functions to support overall project deliveryPlan, monitor, and control work packagesProduce and communicate project reporting dataManage stakeholder relationships and communicationsReview, update, and enact the GFA Management StrategyThis role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 4 days in the office/onsite and 1 day working from home.Essential Experience Of The Type 31 Project ManagerAbility to act as a central point between multiple stakeholders, driving issues to resolutionStrong customer and supplier orientation with collaborative problem-solving skillsProven relationship management with internal and external stakeholdersEnterprise mindset – working interdependently to achieve team successSolid commercial acumen and experience in collaborative environmentsQualifications For The Type 31 Project ManagerDegree in a relevant subject - desirableLean Six Sigma - desirablePrince2 or APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) - desirableSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
