The Role
- Assume responsibility for the efficient management of construction projects on-site.
- Vigilantly oversee quality control and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Take a hands-on approach to pre-site, on-site, and post-site activities.
- Develop and oversee Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) for WBPS projects, as well as review, manage, and approve subcontractors' RAMS.
- Collaborate with the Projects team to forecast planned works and timelines.
- Attend meetings at Head Office as necessary.
- Foster positive internal and external communication channels.
- Ensure compliance with WB Power Services Ltd ISO policies and procedures.
- Manage communication between all project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Address and resolve any on-site delays or issues, escalating as needed.
The Person
- Previous experience as a Construction Manager or Installation Manager.
- Possession of SMSTS certification.
- Willingness to travel as projects are nationwide.
- Prior experience with generators or M&E projects preferred.
- Proficiency in communication via telephone, face-to-face, and email.
- Familiarity with industry ISO standards.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse industries.
- Proficient with IT systems, with a willingness to learn our ERP.
