Premiership SWPL Championship Scottish Cup European Qualifiers and Scotland internationals with live highlights and analysis.We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Content Producer to join the BBC SPORT Scotland team. With ever-growing digital demands we need someone flexible enough to work across TV online and social mediaBBC Sport Scotland really is at the forefront of sports production and we want someone to come in and hit the ground running alongside our already creative driven talented sports teamYOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:Research/assist in the preparation and production of creative Sports contentAbility to offer new and fresh ways of delivering content; both editorial and colour-based with a multi-platform approachEdit match highlights in a fast turnaround environment across our SPFL & SWPL coverageGenerate fresh modern ideas for informative sports programmes/featuresTo watch and digitally log accurately sporting action identifying what is important or useful; either as pre-recorded material or live at Pacific Quay GlasgowWork in conjunction with a VT Editor to edit highlights of sporting action into complete programmes or programme inserts.Knowledge and ability to use editing software Avid Newscutter/Media Composer Avid Assist/Media Manager desirable.Undertake administration duties relevant to the productions smooth running where necessary.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL CRITERIA:This role requires some experience in TV/Multi-Platform Sport Production. You will have a genuine enthusiasm and interest in sport in particular football. Someone with a multi-platform approach and how best to promote our coverage.
