Job DescriptionSCX is a UK-based engineering company known for delivering innovative mechanical handling and kinetic architecture solutions across Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, Sports & Entertainment, and Infrastructure sectors. Role OverviewAs an EC&I Engineer, you’ll support the design, development, and delivery of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation systems for complex engineering projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll help ensure systems are safe, reliable, and meet customer and regulatory requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing EC&I systems from concept to commissioningProduce and review technical documentation:Electrical schematics, cable schedules, panel layoutsControl philosophies and functional design specsDevelop PLC/HMI software (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider)Collaborate with mechanical and safety teams for integrated designsSupport installation, testing, and commissioning activitiesLiaise with suppliers and contribute to design reviewsProvide input to project planning and proposals Skills & ExperienceDegree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or similarExperience with PLC/HMI systems and CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical)Understanding of con...
