About The Role

You will be working 5 days over 7, 10:00 to 19:00, 42.5 hours per week on a permanent, full-time basis.

Duties will include:

  • Deliver stock - van provided.
  • Upkeep of the storeroom, fridges, and freezer/stock rotation, reporting to the Assistant Catering manager with any Stockl/delivery issues.
  • To ensure that the appropriate levels of stock and ingredients are maintained and requests for replenishment are made in a timely manner to the Assistant Catering Management Team for ordering
  • Ensure all fridge and freezer temperatures are taken and recorded on a daily basis reporting any abnormalities to the management immediately
  • Receive all deliveries of food and non-food items to the Catering department, checking invoices and delivery van temperatures, where appropriate, reporting any missing items or incorrect delivery temperatures to the management immediately.
  • To attend all meetings and training sessions as required by OCS including courses online.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations, C.O.S.H.H. regulations and OCS Health and Safety and other related Policies. Any identified hazards are to be reported to management.
  • Loading and collection of all services from Manston to Western Jet Dover
  • To work as part of a team and use initiative to complete all your duties to a set standard and a timely manner.
  • Follow instructions from your Supervisor and Manager, ensuring the correct company policy and procedures are always upheld.
  • Any other reasonable management request
  • This list is not exhaustive, and you may be asked to carry out other relevant tasks, by management, when necessary.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Food safety level 2 qualification or equivalent is also desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Previous experience in catering stores.
  • Good level of computer literacy and good written and oral skills.
  • Full driving License
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and communication skills
