Red Star are looking for an experienced LEAD GROOM ARTIST to work remotely on our production of THE AMAZING MAURICE 2. Candidates must be based in either the UK (preferred) or the EU.The Job:Creation of hair/fur/feather grooms for characters and creatures using Yeti for MayaUpdating assets from previous film to the appropriate version of YetiWork closely with the CFX artists to set up Yeti graphs that work with Houdini hair simulationsWork closely with the LookDev artists to deliver high quality character assetsQuality control on publication of character assetsMust have:Good understanding of Grooming techniques and efficienciesExperience using Yeti and MayaGood understanding of pipeline and workflow requirementsExcellent time management and communication skillsExperience with Autodesk Shotgrid / Flow Production TrackingFour years production experienceNice to have:Experience with HoudiniExperience with other forms of dynamicsFeature Film experienceDetails:Experience Level: SENIOR / LEADContract term: Dec 25 - Aug 26Salary: negotiableYou MUST be based in the UK or EU to be eligible for this position Key Skills 3ds Max,Computer Graphics,Perforce,Zbrush,Unreal Engine,Maya,Painting,Teaching,Adobe Photoshop,Digital Art,Music Therapy,Unity Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1
