A prestigious secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a talented and dedicated Male PE Teacher to join their highachieving PE department on a fulltime permanent basis. The Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons to male students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism and experience.
- Foster a love of sports and physical activity in students encouraging them to develop their skills fitness and teamwork abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported regardless of their ability level.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a broad and balanced PE curriculum that caters to a range of interests and abilities with a focus on the needs and interests of male students.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their physical and personal development.
- Contribute to extracurricular sporting activities and school teams.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Physical Education.
- A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in PE with experience of teaching male students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- A passion for sports and physical education and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles in young men.
