IC Resources is working with one of the leading Radar designers within the defense industry who is looking for a freelance Principal RF Engineer to join their team in Scotland


The Role

  • Onsite in Edinburgh 5 days a week
  • 6 month initial contract
  • Inside IR35
  • Will need SC clearance


The Requirements

  • Manage full hardware lifecycle
  • Create high-quality designs, conduct design reviews, document work, maintain configuration management, and provide progress reports.
  • RF PCB and module designs using the latest technologies to enhance design and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Create prototypes for validation, verify development models, and support production testing.
  • Complete detailed design activities from requirements capture through to design verification.
  • Prepare manufacturing data packs, provide technical support for subcontractors, and collaborate with Systems, Test, and Electronics engineers on integration.
