Mondrian Alpha has partnered with one of London’s leading Hedge Funds looking to secure a Tax Director which will report directly into the CFO and offer a unique opportunity to shape the firms tax strategy.
This is a broad role, which will give you full autonomy to influence across every area of the business. As the Tax Director, your will develop and implement an effective corporate tax strategy aligned with their business objectives. You will lead fund tax responsibilities, including structuring and optimising tax implications, collaborating closely with the investment team to provide expert tax advice on fund-related matters. In addition, you will oversee compliance and reporting, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations. Furthermore, you will oversee the preparation and filing of partnership personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaboration will be a key aspect of this role, as you work closely with external tax advisors, such as EY, leveraging their expertise and staying informed about the latest developments in tax laws.
To qualify for this position, we are seeking a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, preferably within hedge funds or private markets. You must have exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, will make you a valuable addition to the team.
It may depend on experience, but they have an unlimited budget for the right candidate. You can expect an exceptional uplift on both your base and bonus.
