About the role

As a Business Analyst with extensive Telecoms expertise, you will collaborate with our client’s Mobile Networks team. You will be responsible for producing a detailed report that outlines the DSC (Diameter Signalling Controller/Diameter Routing Agent) Capacity Expansion Project.

Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)


The must haves:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst with a technical background in Telecoms.
  • Proven expertise in mobile network and network architecture.
  • Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of PRINCE2 principles.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)


Key responsibilities

  • Outline the comprehensive scope of work for the DSC project.
  • Accurately document business, functional, non-functional (including TSA), and technical requirements, adhering to the client’s business analysis framework while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams across mobile platforms.
  • Effectively prioritise requirements using the MoSCoW method, ensuring traceability throughout the design, development, and testing phases.
  • Collaborate closely with both onshore and offshore technical teams.
  • Execute projects efficiently using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, following our client’s delivery framework.
  • Lead face-to-face and online workshops with various stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and processes.
  • Provide guidance and develop business process models, functional specifications, and supporting documentation, working with business and design team members to gather technical details.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using MS Visio and ARIS for process mapping.
  • Work with design and technical teams to support end-to-end delivery.
  • Define user acceptance test cases and test plans, in close collaboration with the test lead.
  • Manage teams to ensure successful end-to-end delivery outcomes.

  • A day rate, in-scope IR35, £510.81 per day (via a Hays approved umbrella company) or £401.18 per day via Hays PAYE
  • This role provides a remote working access from the comforts of your own home and only going to our state-of-the-art office in Reading twice per week.
