Commissioning Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing client based in Newcastle, are looking to recruit a number of Electricallybiased Commissioning Technician to join the business on a permanent basis due to business growth.The successful candidates will be involved in testing products to ensure they have been correctly manufactured to specification and to be involved in Factory Acceptance Testing to ensure they meet client requirements.Candidates will ideally be Electrcally trained with demonstrable experience working with build and test of complex Electrical systems.Candidates will also ideally have a minimum of 4 5 years experience in commissioning of Electrical/ Mechanical Systems and have a methodical mind set to ensure process is followed correctly.HoursMonday Thursday 6:30am to 3:00pm / Friday 6:30am 12:00pmAny OT worked over 37 hours per week are paid at premium rates to boost earningsAverage of 10 per week availableKey Responsibilities:Ensuring products and associated equipment have been correctly manufacturedDiagnosing and fixing faultsFunctional testing of equipmentEnsuring test paperwork is correctly completedDemonstrating systems to customersAnswering technical queriesContinuous improvementQA checksWork off site when required.Work as part of the Production team as required
