We are looking for a diligent and organised Finance Assistant to support our finance team with a range of accounting and administrative tasks. This role involves handling both accounts payable and receivable duties assisting with month-end processes and maintaining accurate financial records to support business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices for accounts payable and employee expenses accurately and promptlyManage purchase order requests.Prepare weekly payment runs for purchase ledger accounts with submission internal banking systems.Prepare sales statistics reports in collaboration with other departments to support business analysisMaintain and update the fixed asset register and post related journal entriesPerform daily bank and credit card account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balancesReconciliation of intercompany account ledgersKnowledge of selling to EU.Assist with month-end reporting activities including journal postings and account reconciliationsSupport VAT preparation and other statutory reporting as requiredMaintain accurate financial filing and documentationProvide general administrative support to other members of the finance team and undertake other ad-hoc duties as needed.Qualifications : What we are looking for:Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role or a finance (or related) qualification.Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage 300 or Sage Intacct.Strong Excel skills including data entry and basic analysisGood understanding of accounting principles and financial processesExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departmentsAdditional Information : Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:Reward Recognition and OpportunitiesFrasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
