Job Description

The Senior Communications Manager, Fashion, Design & Lifestyle will manage all press and PR-related activities for a group of Negri Firman clients across various industry sectors including fashion, sports, design, architecture, marine and lifestyle, developing and implementing bespoke communication strategies.

We are looking for an ambitious and digitally savvy professional, who is both highly motivated and a team player, possessing a willingness to learn and an entrepreneurial spirit to add to the growth and development of the London office, and the Negri Firman agency globally. With a strong understanding and ability to promote our clients through both traditional and out-of-the-box communications activities. 


Responsibilities

  • Ability to deputize for UK Managing Director and act as Negri Firman ambassador to lead client, industry, internal and external meetings.
  • Ability to deputize for UK Managing Director and act as Negri Firman ambassador to attend press trips and international client meetings.
  • Lead professional client liaison preparing meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Interface with internal/external stakeholders, media, and opinion leaders on behalf of assigned clients.
  • Work in collaboration with the UK Managing Director, Global Creative Director and team to develop out-of-the-box strategies across the client roster.
  • Work in collaboration with the UK Managing Director, Global Creative Director and team to feed into creative and strategic new business proposals.  
  • Work with the existing team to develop and implement Negri Firman client communication strategies and objectives through a broad range of media relations channels.
  • Secure media coverage for Negri Firman clients across all communication platforms. including print, broadcast, and online media.
  • Utilize current relationships with the media, influencers, and industry contacts and develop new relationships to generate high-level impactful results across all communications sectors.
  • Feed into client strategies and databases with relevant celebrities, influencers and KOL for ambassador campaigns, influencer marketing strategies, organic gifting opportunities and event activations.  
  • Monitor the progress of applied strategies and secure optimum results to achieve client satisfaction. 
  • Identify and develop new promotional opportunities and partnerships for Negri Firman clients, across relevant industry sectors.
  • Manage, update and maintain relevant media, influencer and industry databases. 
  • Develop and update target contact lists across relevant sectors including fashion, sports, marine, lifestyle, design and architecture.
  • Monitor results and prepare client reports on the required weekly/monthly/annual basis.
  • Draft or edit press releases, pitches, and other written communication.
  • Research and identify new tools, techniques, and strategies aimed at promoting clients.
  • Manage coordination of client product loans as and when required. 
  • Organize and manage events, press trips and activations.
  • Manage client budgets as and when necessary.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, either in PR and Communications agencies or in-house in fashion, design and lifestyle industry sectors.
  • Solid understanding of fashion, sport, design, architecture, and lifestyle media landscape and long-term relationship with key international media in luxury, design, and lifestyle sectors, and willingness and ability to learn about new industry sectors.
  • Ability to develop communication strategies, analyse and forecast KPI, and calculate ROI.
  • Educated to degree level. A BA in communications and PR is advantageous.
  • Fluent English speaker; Italian or any other additional language is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
  • Strong communication skills and persuasive manner.
  • Proactive, organised and a team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
