Logistics Business Controller Location:Broughton (60% onsite working required) Hours:35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm) Pay:£21.68/hr (PAYE) or £29.00/hr (umbrella) Clearance:BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security) IR35:Inside About the Role Are you passionate about driving financial performance and supporting operational excellence? What You'll Be Doing Financial Planning & Analysis Lead financial planning and forecasting, providing clear guidance in line with company strategy. Develop and maintain multi-year financial targets. Build and run financial models, scenarios, and business cases to support decision-making. Anticipate financial risks and opportunities, advising on mitigation strategies. Business Partnering & Decision Support Understand the operational environment, including governance and business challenges. Challenge business requests constructively to ensure robust financial outcomes. Advise on cost optimisation and competitiveness initiatives, monitoring savings and improvements. Reporting & Data Quality Produce accurate, insightful financial reports at the right level of detail. Analyse performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions. Support resource reviews, headcount planning, and cost allocation. Approve and audit purchase orders, review commitments, and trigger cost rebookings as needed. Continuous Improvement Drive process improvements within the business area. Champion best practice in financial reporting and governance.
