Responsibilities:

Processing of Applications

Display vacancies on the College Intranet and Internet sites, adhering to College policiesHandle enquiries and queries from applicants, managers, and staffRespond promptly to ad-hoc queries from prospective applicantsEnsure accurate data input of candidate details onto the intranet system

Shortlisting and Interviewing

Collaborate with managers to agree on shortlisting criteriaArrange shortlisting dates and participate in shortlisting panelsCoordinate selection processes and regularly review themSchedule interview dates and ensure candidates are well-informedParticipate in interview panels, ensuring compliance with College policiesAdminister assessments and provide feedback to candidates

Appointment

Set appropriate starting salaries in consultation with the Senior Recruitment Co-ordinatorMake verbal job offers and issue offer letters and contractsConduct pre-employment checks, referring any issues to the HR Director or relevant HR AdvisorEnsure new employees have ID numbers and computer logins set upCoordinate induction arrangements and inform line managersMaintain accurate record-keeping and documentation
