About the Company:
Our client is a specialist engineering business, based in the north of England, we are looking for a Sales Director who will develop opportunities and build relationships with key clients. This individual will be a commercial sales leader, with a deep technical understanding of design in a highly regulated environment.
About the Role:
A target driven individual, the Sales Director will be maintaining and building trusted relationships with key clients, partners and varied stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, growing and enhancing the company’s presence through established partnerships. Capable of interpreting a customer’s requirements, through specifications/face to face meetings to formulate a plan of action/tender return geared towards as high a profit margin as possible. This role is very much about finding new opportunities with new customers and developing existing customers to expand opportunities. Understanding of a highly regulated environment is essential to this role; ideally with experience with defense or government. This person must also be security cleared to a minimum of SC clearance. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days a week on site.
Responsibilities:
- Develop opportunities and build relationships with key clients.
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key clients, partners, and varied stakeholders.
- Identify business opportunities and grow the company’s presence through established partnerships.
- Interpret customer requirements and formulate plans of action/tender returns.
- Understand and navigate a highly regulated environment.
- Be security cleared to a minimum of SC clearance.
- Work on site a minimum of 3 days a week.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in a relevant technical/engineering discipline
