The Health Economics Team

The Health Economics Modelling team are experts in creating intuitive scientifically robust and clinically appropriate models. They are the team clients come to when they require specialist modelling expertise. They excel across all model types and are recognised experts in creating new models which translate complex problems clearly and transparently. Examples of models the team work on are below:


Model types:

  • Cost-effectiveness models
  • Budget impact models
  • Pricing models
  • Disease and natural history models
  • Complex simulation models
  • National and local model review and adaptation
  • De Novo Modelling


The role

Health Economists are responsible for efficient, high-quality execution on health economics (HE) projects and HE elements of cross-collaborative projects. They are expected to be able to implement economic models, run analyses and prepare relevant dissemination materials independently and contribute to proposals and internal initiatives to improve the way the company works.


To be considered for the role of Health Economics Modeler you need the following:

Education

A degree in Science/ Healthcare (or similar)

Apost-graduate qualification would be desirable.

Experience

  • A strong background in modeling; concept, design, build and evaluation.
  • Proficient in Excel/VBA. Experience with other languages(e.g. R) desirable
  • Growing experience in Project Management
  • Growing experience in business development.
