FLT Operator

This role is ideal for someone with strong operational skills who is flexible, experienced, and eager to work both days and nights.Role: FLT OperatorLocation: South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH - DS SmithRate of Pay: £15.40 per hourOvertime Pay: * OT1: £23.10 (Monday to Thursday at x1.5) * OT2: £30.80 (Friday to Sunday at x2.0) Contract Length: 3 months rolling, with potential for a permanent position Shift Patterns: * Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 16:00 (Occasional extended hours on overtime and Friday work as required)Responsibilities: * Safely operate machinery to move materials, achieving productivity and performance targets in quality, waste management, and customer service. * Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per the planned schedule. * Support and actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives. * Operate a Counterbalance FLT and undertake occasional Warehouse Operative tasks (manual labor is not a primary component of this role).Essential Requirements: * Mandatory External Counterbalance FLT License (internal licenses will not be accepted). * Flexibility to work nights and experience with shift patterns.Desirable Requirements: * Driving license and access to a car. * Familiarity with warehouse operations.Benefits: * Advice and editing on your current CV. * A dedicated team supporting you throughout the role. * Paid holiday. * Exclusive online discounts for restaurants and retail. * Referral bonus of £300*. * Opportunity for progression into permanent roles. * Competitive rates of pay.Does this role sound interesting?
