We are recruiting on behalf of one of our schools within the Bromley area who are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Geography. This role would be a long-term position from January 2025 to the February Half-Term.Within our clients school, they aim to hook children as learners through innovative and exciting approaches to teaching and learning from Nursery right through to Year 8. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed Teacher of Geography with outstanding teaching skills and excellent subject knowledge to join our clients journey.Your key responsibilities: * To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate. * To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher * To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential * To contribute to raising standards of student attainmentIf you are seeking to be an inspirational and innovative professional who can motivate and inspire students and really make a difference, then this school is for youRequirements: * Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree. * Have successful teaching experience at KS2 level. * Have knowledge of National Curriculum requirements and of writing lesson plans, developing resources and assessing students’ work. * A genuine passion for working with children and enjoy working in a school environment. * Punctual, trustworthy and can work as part of a team and to develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff
