Were looking for experiencedPipelayers to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality drainage and groundworks projects. If you have a strong background in installing drainage systems setting levels and working with precision on site wed like to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Install and lay various drainage systems (surface water foul and storm) to line and level.Excavate bed and joint pipes safely and efficiently ensuring compliance with site specifications.Carry out backfilling compaction and reinstatement works following installation.Set out levels and falls accurately using laser levels or site drawings.Work with concrete surrounds manholes and chambers as required.Support groundworks and external works including slabs kerbs and edgings when needed.Conduct daily checks on tools plant and equipment to ensure safe operation.Maintain high standards of health safety and environmental compliance on site.Collaborate effectively with other operatives machine drivers and site management to meet deadlines.Essential Requirements:Valid CSCS card.Proven experience in pipelaying drainage or groundworks roles.Competent in reading and interpreting site drawings and levels.Strong understanding of safe excavation and service avoidance procedures.Reliable proactive and able to work both independently and within a team.Desirable:Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (e.g. 360 Excavator Dumper Roller).5 years experience in civil engineering or drainage works.Experience working as part of a drainage gang or utility team.General Expectations:Punctual dependable and committed to quality workmanship.Positive attitude and ability to support site programmes and deadlines.Collaborative approach with other trades and site teams.Must have the right to work in the UK.* Please note that to comply with client requirements we can only accept NPORS cards affiliated with CSCS and carrying the CSCS hologram.
