About the RoleAs our Deputy Manager Apprentice, you will support the Nursery Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the setting. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, leading staff, supporting childrens development, and contributing to the strategic direction of the nursery. Requirements? Must already hold aLevel 3 Early Years qualification ?Experience as a Third in Chargeor similar senior role within a nursery ? Strong understanding of the EYFS framework ? Confident supporting staff performance and daily operations ? Genuine ambition to progress into a Deputy Manager position ? Willing to complete theLevel 5 Lead Practitioner apprenticeship ? Full-time availability Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Manager with planning, compliance, and maintaining high-quality practice across the settingLead, motivate and mentor staff to deliver outstanding childcareSupport with safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirementsDevelop strong relationships with children, families, and the wider teamEnsure all policies and procedures are followed consistentlySafeguarding StatementWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff, volunteers, and apprentices to share this commitment.
