The Opportunity

This is a critical role for our business functions across the globe. You will be responsible for providing support to the overall development strategy by improving business processes, and for managing relationships with external developers, consultants and internal stakeholders. You will also assist business decisions by driving improvements in system development and integration.



Main Responsibilities

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts and other developers to design, develop, and implement solutions.
  • Ensure code is secure, testable and performance oriented using C#, SQL, JavaScript, Angular/React
  • Support the whole lifecycle of our applications including troubleshooting and providing support to our users.
  • Working with internal teams and third-party vendors to integrate new technology into the business.
  • Research latest technology trends to enhance developer experience and ultimately build for business success.
  • Provide user support services to ensure problems are remediated quickly and effectively.
  • Gather and validate development requests from the business and update the business on improvements.
  • Create and manage project plans based upon agreed development work and ensure delivery in line with agreed timescales.
  • Develop, execute, and document user test plans ensuring that any modifications are robustly tested and accepted by the user group prior to going live.
  • Responsible for own personal health & safety.

  • Strong knowledge of C# and .NET Core
  • Multiple years of commercial experience of using React, Vue or Angular
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS and JavaScript
  • A good understanding of front-end frameworks and libraries (jQuery, Handlebars.js, Bootstrap)
  • In-depth knowledge of a development environment, tools, and source control
  • Knowledge of Azure app services, databases and DevOps environments
  • Multiple years of commercial experience developing microservices
  • Strong understanding of development pipelines and deployment
  • Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and in writing)
  • A demonstrable ability to proactively manage tasks, projects and issues
  • Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work well in a team
