Sterile Service Technician (Bank)Circle Decontamination - Jubilee CourtBank ShiftsSalary: Up to 13.37 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)Circle Health Group Decontamination is responsible for the provision of sterile equipment and instrumentation for use in surgical and interventional procedures in hospitals across England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.We have an opportunity for aSterile Services Technicianto join their team of staff in theDecontaminationdepartment in Glasgow Jubilee Court.This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.Duties of this role include:To provide a first-class decontamination sterile service to the operating department clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments in accordance with HTM 01-01To assist in the provision of decontamination checking assembly packing sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment Endoscopes and sundry items to/for the customerTo maintain good working relationships with all stakeholdersTo promote and maintain Health & Safety within the departmentTo ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained in working areas.To ensure processes are followed as directed by the Senior Staff and in accordance with policies and proceduresApplicants should meet the following criteria:Ability to work under pressure.Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.Positive can do attitudePrevious Experience is requiredSome experience of working within a sterile services unitSalary & Benefits:Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate.Our culture is a result of the way our people live and breathe our philosophy which combines our purpose principles and values.To find out more about the Circle Health Group Philosophy: Experience:IC Key Skills Criminal Justice,Arm,Impromptu,ABB,Home Care,HSE Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
