The Channel Islands

For a city-based lawyer who thrives on big-ticket work but craves an escape from the rat race, few places compete with the Channel Islands, home to two of the world’s premier offshore financial centres. Jersey and Guernsey have strong and highly competitive legal sectors housing teams that number many alumni of the leading London or international outfits amongst their ranks. Interviews will take place by videoconference with start dates depending on your qualification date. Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with visas (if required) and relocation.


Requirements

The role is aimed at lawyers at the NQ-2-year PQE level with prior banking and finance experience. You will be admitted in the UK, Ireland or in a Commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa). You will need strong academics (2.1 minimum at degree plus Commendation/Distinction at LPC or equivalent) and will have trained/practised with a respected commercial firm (London/Regional UK/International). You will be a confident communicator who enjoys client contact.
