We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join an established Developer for projects in the Sussex areaSector: Site ManagerLocation: Sussex AreaContract type: PermStart date: ASAP.Salary - £60k - £70kFawkes & Reece contact: Chelsey Potter (Brighton branch) The companyThe Company are very well established and growing Developer with a strong pipeline of developments in the 2024 period.The role Reporting directly into a visiting Contracts Manager and Construction Director, the role of a Site Manager requires you to have knowledge of:Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the publicSupervising construction workers and hiring subcontractorsBuying materials for each phase of the projectMonitoring build costs and project progressConducting quality and safety inspectionsChecking and preparing site reports, designs and drawingsMaintaining quality control checksMotivating the workforceDay to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that ariseUsing specialist project management computer programmesWorking on-site in all weathers, at clients' businesses or in a site office. About you:The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills. Proven track record of working for a top twenty main contractor advantageous.you will possess strong planning and problem-solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.
