Fortis Recruitment are working with a great precision engineering company based in the Harlow area to recruit a quality inspector to joint their team. The successful quality inspector will have experience using a variety of measuring devices including hand tools and ideally will have used CMMs. You will be able to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T symbols.Experience with technical paperwork such as FAIRs, PPAPs or CoCs would be an advantage as would having been involved in troubleshooting non-conformance.The role * Inspection of precision machined parts with hand tools * Use of CMMs (desirable) * Able to read engineering drawings * Fill in technical paperwork (desirable)As a quality inspector you will need to have basic knowledge of Excel and Outlook and having working in an ISO9001 environment would help but is not essential.
