Shifts• Monday to Friday• Start time: 17:00 Rates of Pay• £19.00 per hour Benefits• Excellent hourly rates• Weekly pay• Ongoing, consistent work• Immediate starts available• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties• Transporting goods on a curtain-sided vehicle (no handball involved)• Completing trunk runs between depots or client sites• Operating and driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks• Ensuring all loads are safe, secure, and compliant• Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly Essential Skills• Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• ADR Licence (required)• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)• Strong communication skills and attention to detail• Excellent timekeeping and reliability• Sound understanding of UK road transport regulations Desirable Experience• Previous commercial driving experience in trunking or regional logistics Training Provided• Two-day paid assessment required prior to start• Full induction and ongoing support throughout your assignment• Temporary to permanent opportunity for successful drivers ApplyIf you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity as anHGV Class 1 Driver , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
