An exciting new role has arisen to join this well regarded, long established independent CA Firm within their most supportive, friendly, successful and expanding Tax team.

Based in Glasgow and reporting to Tax Director / Partner, this is a varied, mixed tax role taking responsibility for your own high quality mixed personal and corporate -SME client portfolio with a personal tax bias.

This role is mainly compliance focused, with good scope to grow, learn more and further develop, working with a team who like to pull together.

You will be responsible for mentoring and supervising the more junior tax staff,dealing with clients and their queries, ensuring tax compliance is completed on budget and to deadlines, and relevant client billing.

You will be keen to keep abreast of tax legislation changes and assist with any research or ad hoc advisory projects.

Ideal person:

Several years current or recent UK Tax experience gained from another Accountancy firm is essential.

A proven track record of Mixed tax work would be ideal, however personal tax specialists keen to broaden their tax knowledge and role by moving now into a mixed tax portfolio will happily be considered and fully supported to get up to speed and perform all aspects in this newly created role.

You will either be ATT /CTA part qualified or studying- ongoing study support provided to aid qualification, or a Tax specialist not seeking to do exams as more qualified by their years tax experience.

You will possess good team working, organisational skills and an enthusiastic, sociable, flexible approach to your work with commitment to providing high quality client service at all times.

Experience of IT Tax software essential.
