Your Mission as a Pharmacy AssistantAs a vital member of our team you will:
- Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist maintaining meticulous accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
- Offer exceptional customer service ensuring all patients feel heard supported and valued.
- Contribute to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organised and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory by organising stocking and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
- Utilise computer systems for processing prescriptions managing stock levels and handling customer queries.
- Maintain a spotless and orderly pharmacy environment.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A foundation of pharmacy knowledge with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills; displaying warmth empathy and patience.
- A keen eye for detail ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.
- Strong teamwork capabilities thriving in a collaborative work setting.
- Computer literacy comfortable with learning and utilising various pharmacy software systems.
- Outstanding communication traits ability to problemsolve and the initiative to adapt quickly in a bustling environment.
