THE FIRM

A South East based full service law firm.

THE ROLE

A Knowledge Lawyer is sought to support the Commercial & Technology practice.

The team is renowned for its commercial and technology work and is recognised for commercial, data protection and information technology in the legal directories.

The focus of the role is to provide support to the lawyers on a wide range of high-quality commercial contract, advisory, IT and digital business-related work. The team also has within it a number of specialisms and sector interests such as franchising, retail, insurance, and ESG.

The role is available on either a full time or part time basis and additionally the firm works flexibly and remote/hybrid working is available, with employees encouraged to be in the office at least 2 days per week (pro-rated for part time workers).

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will be an established commercial and technology knowledge lawyer.

Some knowledge of data protection or competition law is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. You will need to be a qualified lawyer with significant relevant experience, and demonstrate you have experience in drafting in plain language and in English and recent experience in drafting commercial/tech contracts.

Strong presentation skills paired with experience in designing and delivering training programmes desirable
