Data Platform Engineer

We are currently seeking an innovative resourceful and process-oriented Data Platform Engineer to join our IT team.Our IT & Engineering team is at the heart of this mission: powering seamless guest services secure back-office platforms and innovative digital experiences. As we accelerate our data transformation across the Gleneagles Group and Estelle properties in England were expanding our team to include a Data Platform Engineer for 12 months to build operate and continually improve our enterprise data platform spanning Snowflake Oracle SQL and Power BI across on-prem and cloud.This role blends hands-on engineering with platform stewardship. Youll design build and run pipelines and models; enable secure governed self-service analytics; and put in place the controls automation and run-books needed for a reliable auditable platform at scale.This is a hybrid position with a minimum of one or two days each week spent on site at Gleneagles in Auchterarder in line with the needs of our business.ABOUT GLENEAGLESOne of the worlds most iconic luxury hotels and sporting estates Gleneagles has been making memories for a century.
