DescriptionAbout the role:At NEXT we have a great opportunity for a Visual & Creative Merchandiser to join our Womenswear Retail Marketing team for 9 months based at Head Office in Leicestershire. As a Visual & Creative Merchandiser you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a visually inspiring shopping environment for the NEXT customer focusing specifically on Womenswear. You will help to create Head Office VM Guidelines to a high level supporting & developing store teams along the way.You will have a creative eye and the ability to communicate effectively with a passion and genuine interest in Visual Merchandising. Retail VM experience is essential.Main Tasks:Managing the product layoutsPreplanning and implementing visual merchandising phase changes inline with the mockshop critical pathCommunicating with the Womenswear product team throughout the layoutsCreative input into the layouts and display equipmentResearch and feedback ideas to enhance the layout through merchandising and equipmentWorking on projects to move the Womenswear department forwardStore opening supportProducing the Visual Merchandise GuidelinesCoordination of the visual merchandise guideline packs for each phaseCommunicating and writing memos for storesPoint of contact for product teams and stores queriesCreating a relationship and working with the Womenswear Product teamAbout you:Have excellent planning and time management skillsHave personal drive motivation and resilienceExcellent communication skills both written and verbalBe able to prioritise and work to tight deadlinesBe flexible to travel / stay away for short periods and work additional hours if necessaryHave experience of working with Womenswear product (desirable but not essential)Have Visual Merchandising experience in a Retail environment#LI-CG1 Key Skills Sales Experience,Project / Program Management,Time Management,Fashion Retail,Customer Service,Communication skills,Node.js,Retail Sales,Android,Guest Services,Merchandising,Strategic Planning Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
