Bolt Technical are hiring for our clienta leading global cybersecurity consultancy expanding into the UK market. Job Title:Cyber Security Consultant Location:Milton Keynes Contract Type:Full-time, Permanent Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00 am5:00 pm (some flexibility required) Hybrid working - 2 days from home offered Salary:£35,000-£40,000 DOE This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded, ambitious individual in the fast-moving world of cybersecurity. Working closely with global clients and a highly experienced international team, youll play a key role in delivering technical assessments, writing security recommendations, and helping customers improve their defences. Youll be based full-time in the UK office, working alongside the local team with support from international colleagues. Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering security assessments and technical testing Produce clear and actionable reports for clients Support implementation of security recommendations Contribute to internal research on the latest threats and defence technologies Collaborate with global team members to deliver high-impact projects Provide training and guidance to clients on improving their security posture What Were Looking For: Previous experience within cyber security A strong foundation in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, etc) Fast learnerable to grasp technical information quickly and independently Good communication and client-facing skills Organised and self-motivated, with a proactive mindset Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends (planned in advancetime off in lieu provided) Skills & Experience Required: Degree in a technical or engineering field Customer-facing or consulting experience Background in IT support, networking, or security operations Basic scripting skills or familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Training will be provided, including a comprehensive onboarding bootcamp and opportunities to travel to the companys global HQ.
