We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.We have an exciting opportunity for a Degree Apprentice Civil Engineer (Design) to join our Oxfordshire Highways contract. You’ll have the opportunity to gain broad experiences within our design office and on our construction sites. Initially you will work within our diverse design team, helping to design and deliver a variety of maintenance and highway improvement projects and support the review of highway development schemes.What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?The successful candidate will enrol onto the Level 6 Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship, with one of our partners University.Over 5 years, you will work towards a BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering, as well as working towards becoming qualified as an Incorporated Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers.Activities you may be involved in include:CAD design workDrafting scheme documentsConstruction site visitsLiaison with local and public authorities What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?As a Degree Apprentice you will be recruited on a permanent contract and after completing your apprenticeship and professional accreditation with the Institution of Civil Engineers, becoming am Incorportated Engineer, you will have the knowledge, experience and professional membership to progress and be rewarded with a great career at M Group.We’d love to hear from you if you have:A-Level Maths or BTEC Level 3 Level 3 National Extended Diploma, including Maths, or T-Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction.
