Role- Mechanical Design Engineer Salary- £35,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Type- PermanentLocation- Warrington My client is a specialist manufacturer within the Instrumentation sector. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Warrington on a permanent basis. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:BSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar3 or more years of industry experience working in similar Mechanical Design role Ideally have some experience in a High Precision and Injection MouldingKnowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation Excellent proficiency with CAD software – SolidWorks or similarGood mathematical and general engineering knowledgeThe ability to understand system requirementsBe self-motivated with excellent attention to detailHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAble to travel nationally and internationally on occasion The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawingsLeading client projects to convert ideas into designs Working on new product conceptsBeing involved in the product design and development process using CADWorking with high precision instrumentation productsUsing injection moulding methods to produce productsConducting design reviewsProducing the relevant documentation that is requiredIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
