Principal Systems Engineer Location:            Edinburgh or Newcastle Duration:            12 months Rate:                    £70 per hour Umbrella SC Clearance Required We are seeking Systems Engineers to contribute to the continued development of an in-service radar system, by supporting the planning and analysis of radar trials (rig-based and flight trials). Key Responsibilities Work with large datasets from rig and flight trials and use analytical techniques to evaluate radar performance against requirements and raise Systems Problem Reports (SPR) for detailed investigation. Apply signal processing, image processing, and object classification techniques to extract actionable insights. Investigate system anomalies using real trial data, ensuring performance meets specifications. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and prototype cutting-edge defence solutions. Contribute to System Verification & Validation (V&V) activities as part of the continuous development / enhancement of the Radar System.
