As a Digger Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of digging equipment to perform excavation and earthmoving tasks. Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maneuver diggers, such as excavators or backhoes, to perform excavation and earthmoving tasks
  • Utilize digging equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and other required structures
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of digging equipment
  • Adhere to project specifications, safety guidelines, and regulations
  • Collaborate with other construction workers to complete tasks efficiently
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Digger Driver card
  • Prior experience as a Digger Driver
  • Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance
  • Ability to interpret project plans and specifications
  • Strong focus on safety and attention to detail

Requirements
