Senior Associate – Private Client & Tax

Location: London
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum

An opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading private client firms, advising both UK and international high-net-worth individuals. This role offers the chance to work with clients who have diverse asset portfolios, including international businesses, luxury assets, and traditional landed estates. The firm provides proactive estate planning, trusts, commercial, and wealth protection advice, helping clients preserve and enhance their wealth while ensuring compliance and reputational integrity.

Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic Senior Associate to join their London office as part of a highly successful and expanding team. Candidates with five or more years of experience in a Private Client or Tax department, ideally from a reputable City or West End firm, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on UK taxation, particularly for non-UK domiciled clients and international families.
  • Providing guidance on complex wealth-holding structures and family office tax issues.
  • Advising on trusts and wealth structures in both common law and civil law jurisdictions where applicable.
  • Leading and supervising matters within the growing Private Client and Tax team.
  • Contributing to business development and the expansion of the firm's international practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree and A, B, B at A-Level.
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to simplify complex tax matters for clients.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with strong initiative and drive.
  • Ability to manage sizeable projects and client matters.
  • Ambitious, with a commitment to professional development and growing the firm's international profile.
  • STEP membership preferred but not essential.
