Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed business cases, project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for AI projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all AI projects adhere to the organisations' quality standards and ethical guidelines, particularly regarding data security and privacy.
  • Grant and Funding Coordination: Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and reports related to AI projects, ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experienced in delivering a range of projects across a large and complex environment
  • Evidenced delivery of reporting to governance bodies and managing key stakeholders
  • Successful set-up of project structures, processes, tools & methods
  • Professional development of project management resources including all aspects of people management
  • Knowledge of a wide range of change management and methodologies such as Agile and Lean
  • Experience of business intelligence strategy and reporting
  • Professional certifications such as PRINCE2 / APMQ or equivalent qualifications

What you'll get in returnYou can expect a salary in the region of £45,000 to £55,000 (depending on experience), along with 29 days annual leave, flexible working (office based at least two days a week) and an attractive pension scheme.
