Job DescriptionJob Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Improvement Lead (Submarines)Working Pattern: Full timeWorking location: Derby (Raynesway)What you will be doing:The successful candidate will lead Manufacturing Engineering Strategic Improvements to enable rate to hit SSNA drumbeat. The successful candidate will be required to work with a range of SMEs to help foster a Continuous Improvement Zero Defect culture. The submarines business is going through a period of significant change ramping up to deliver 3 times current production volume. This is a pivotal role in ensuring NB&C are match fit to meet that challenge ensuring robustly engineered products and manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:Lead strategic improvements to drive SQCDP performance.Lead the application of Built in Quality Toolset across NB&CDefine & Manage Execution of plan for application of Built- in-Quality toolset (PFD CM PFMEA Control Plans SPC MSA to existing productsAct as Local Subject Matter Expert for Built in QualityDefine standard toolsets & approach reflecting current industry best practiseProvide Coaching & Support to wider PCO ME TeamDrive technical improvements in support of our Nuclear cultureWho were looking for:At Rolls-Royce we embrace agility are bold pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do.
