Upholsterer

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to upholster furniture from start to finish (no sewing needed) to join our team in Telford.The Upholsterer will be responsible for repairing and restoring furniture by installing new fabric, padding, and springs.Salary: £14 to £20ph depending on experienceWorking hours: 09:00-17:00 - Flexibility availableResponsibilities:- Measure, cut, and sew fabric to upholster furniture pieces- Use hand tools and power tools to remove old fabric and secure new material- Inspect furniture frames for any damages or defects- Fabricate cushions, pillows, and other upholstery items- Assemble pre-cut wooden parts to form furniture frames- Perform heavy lifting when moving furniture pieces- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the upholstery areaQualifications:- Mechanical knowledge to understand furniture construction- Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools- Ability to fabricate and assemble furniture components- Capable of heavy lifting when handling furniture pieces- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficialIf you possess these skills and are looking to showcase your expertise as an Upholsterer, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity with an up-to-date CV
