Senior Electrical Designer Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire (Hybrid – 3 days on site after probation) Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £52,000 – £60,000 + benefits The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Designer to join a dynamic engineering team operating within the pharmaceutical sector. You’ll support critical infrastructure and facilities projects, working in a safety-first, collaborative environment that encourages technical development and continuous improvement. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting a busy framework programme, delivering around 40 varied projects each year, all within the pharmaceutical environment. Managing multiple workstreams, producing: Technical reports and scopes Concept and detailed designs Construction-ready documentation Producing electrical design drawings for: LV power distribution Lighting and emergency lighting Fire detection and security systems Electrical O&M models Working closely with client-side engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. Applying your knowledge of regulated facilities and designing solutions suited to pharmaceutical standards.
