Founded in 2008, AlphaSights is a fast-growing, founder-led company.About This RoleAs a placement student in our Accounting and Finance team, you will play a key role in processes and deliverables. You will be fully integrated into the finance teams shared services function covering Accounts Payable. This placement will strengthen your working financial knowledge and give a unique perspective of the workings of a finance function in a fast growing multinational business.What You’ll DoSubmitting invoices and creating settlement runs for supplier payments on ERP systemSetting up expert payments in a timely manner on bank portalsManaging day-to-day supplier and expert queries on paymentsBuilding and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholdersCollecting and processing staff expenses Processing and reconciling corporate credit cardsAssisting with Bank Reconciliation reviewsWhere relevant, carrying out ad hoc projects as requiredThese tasks are fundamental to the smooth running of the business and you will find that such activities are conducted in many other businesses which will give you a good understanding of the basics and the platform for a strong start to your career in finance.What You’ll GetDevelop your workplace skills and experience and help build the foundations of your future careerConstructive on-the-job training as well as company wide learning and development initiativesTake on real responsibility and become an essential part of an encouraging teamGain essential knowledge to help you achieve success in your placement and your future career RequirementsA strong interest in a future career in Finance or AccountingAttention to detail and the ability to work well under pressureAbility to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature mannerAbility to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative dutiesProficiency in MS Office or Gsuite skillsEligibilityMust be an undergraduate student in your penultimate yearCompensation And Benefits£25,000 per annum 4% matched pension contribution on qualified earningsComprehensive private health insurance coverage and dental insurance25 vacation days, 8 bank holidays, and business closure over the Christmas break.Option to WFH Thursday & FridayState-of-the-art office with amenities in the City of LondonAlphaSights is an equal-opportunity employer
