My client are looking for an experienced Quality & Technical Manager who is able to smoothly bridge the gap between R&D, NPD, production, commercial and our customers. Client Details You would be working right at the cutting edge of innovation in this area. In a developing field, the responsibility of a technical lead is significant, ensuring that developments in R&D and NPD are rapidly but robustly implemented into a production environment. Description Take the business to BRC AA accreditation Responsible for overall manufactured product quality through the control of operations and production processes, SOPs, staff training, testing protocols. Initiate and maintain all accreditation, including Salsa, BRC, and individual audit programmes such as M&S compliance Continually update product specifications and the communication of these to our customers Own the relationships with all of our external testing laboratories and ensure compliance of our internal testing methods with industry standards and external measures.Profile A successful Quality & Technical Manager should have: A scientific background, ideally with a good level of experience in microbiology Ideally experience in the beverage industry Experience running audits in Salsa, BRC and/or internal audits with the major UK retailers Experience working collaboratively and cross functionally across R&D, NPD and production, and working closely with sales teams A deeply ana...
