What’s the opportunity?


Due to internal development, we’ve got an exciting opportunity for an L&D Advisor to join Hovis. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things Learning & Development, supporting various initiatives business-wide. You'll be working closely with different teams, providing advice, and keeping things running smoothly when it comes to central L&D activities and Apprenticeships. Plus, you'll be supporting the development and deployment of Hovis training solutions.


What will you be doing?


  • be a key point of contact across the organisation for all things ‘Hovis Academy’ alongside other training solutions.
  • will work across departments to support the development of functional content for the Learning Management System.
  • will coach colleagues and Line Managers on the use of L&D systems.
  • Learning and Development advice and guidance to Hovis Colleagues
  • and maintaining a database of learner needs and supporting the evaluation of central training initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • with various 3rd parties and suppliers to source appropriate training solutions and coordinating evaluation of activities.
  • central training activities and initiatives (internal and external).
  • a key point of contact for the business regarding Apprenticeships and supporting with recruitment, induction, delivery, and development of Hovis Early Careers activity.
  • the training budget tracker and monthly KPI reporting.
