DescriptionSalary 25185 -25989 per annum Permanent part time 32.5 hours per week Catering Heasandford Primary SchoolLancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire serving over 60000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.You will lead and work as part of a team at Heasandford Primary School Burnley providing high quality healthy balanced meals for school children.Key responsibilities:Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plansDirect and/or supervise other employeesOrder supplies and store deliveriesMaintain records and stock controlMaintain agreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchen hygieneWhat we are looking for:Experience of large-scale cateringKnowledge of food service and catering in generalOrganisational cost control and supervisory skillsRecognised supervisor or team leader qualification would be desirableWorking Hours/Days:Monday to Friday 6.5 hrs per dayTerm time only 4 cleaning days during the school closure32.5 hours per week although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptakeThe post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
