Core Responsibilities


  • You will be part of the credit team that manages a large portfolio of accounts across the diverse project finance and asset acquisition finance spectrum.
  • You will manage a credit portfolio including applications and approval process, special credits and other risk events in conjunction with the Front Office, acting as the primary analyst on a specified portfolio of assets.
  • Direct analytical responsibility for conducting credit and financial analysis and reviewing, challenging data/transaction material provided - preparing credit papers with recommendations for decision-making across a spectrum of project finance, asset acquisition finance, lease finance and related derivatives transactions.
  • Exercise strong credit assessment methodology toward new transactions and management of a portfolio of structured finance assets (including Problem Assets), across sectors, geographies, and asset/product types.
  • Proactive monitoring and identification of key risks associated with clients, transactions and industry sub-sectors including escalation of deteriorating credits and other problem situations.


Your Background


  • Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ACT, CFA), and a track record of continuous learning and development.
  • Experience (ideally 2+ years) in a credit analytical role within a major international bank, project finance house or a rating agency, with the likelihood of seeing a range of products/transaction types and some experience with varying credit market conditions.
  • Experience and capability to take a structured transaction from inception to approval with limited supervision.
  • Good working knowledge of asset lending proposals encompassing appropriate risk factor identification, assessment including sound cash-flow analysis, stress-testing and presentation as well as familiarity with documentation and market trends.
