The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a fire safety or health & safety environment.The RoleThe key purpose of the role is to provide expert advice on fire safety standards across council premises and work operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Carrying out fire risk assessments, fire safety inspections and assessments of premises and work activities.Providing advice and guidance to internal teams on fire safety and risk mitigation.Investigating fire safety-related incidents.Preparing reports, safety plans and assessments where required.Supporting the development and monitoring of internal fire safety policies and strategies.
