An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Cluster Reservation & Events Coordinator. You will be based at our Holiday Inn in Bristol City Center and assist the Reservations & Events Sales Manager for 3 properties (Bristol City Centre, Bristol Airport and Cardiff Airport). This role is very hands' on and will require you to assist the CRRE Manager to oversee the day to day operations of our Revenue, Reservations & Events Sales Team. You'll ensure that all our clients' meetings and events run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner. You'll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for planners, hosts and meeting attendees. You will be vital in driving our brand standards forward and implementing changes to assist in providing profit growth whilst ensuring that our guests receives a true hospitality that our hotels believe in.

What will your key responsibilities and duties be:

  • Ensure that our Bedroom and Events bookings are entered into the system, and accurate function sheets are produced
  • To assist in supervising our small but mighty team by ensuring the smooth delivery of daily tasks, providing effective leadership, training and to support our company objectives
  • Work closely with our Cluster Revenue Manager, General Managers and Cluster Sales Manager to ensure revenue and sales are maximised
  • Continue to support our key relationships with the third-party booking agents
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports
  • Actively involved in inventory management
  • Be involved in pricing decisions

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a 4* branded hotel would be a bonus
  • Revenue/sales hungry and target driven individual, who is looking to make a real difference to our hotels.
  • Attention to details, by ensuring that each functions sheet for our conference and events have all the relevant details included in order to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Proactive, composed, enthusiastic, approachable, able to build strong rapport with guests and managers, and able to motivate your team
  • Excellent communication skills; good organisational and administrative skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
