Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for aHead of Global Clearancewho is visionary collaborative and innovative to join us in our Medical Marketing Operations Patient Impact team based inBelgiumHQorSloughUK.About the roleYou will lead the transformation of our global clearance function driving operational excellence digital innovation and cross-functional alignment. This role ensures compliant agile and efficient review of all materials worldwide supporting UCBs omnichannel ambitions.Who youll work withYou will be working in a diverse cross-functional team of experts from Medical Legal Regulatory and Marketing collaborating globally within a matrix structure to deliver high-impact solutions and continuous improvement.What youll doEstablish and maintain global governance frameworks for content clearance.Harmonize SOPs across regions for consistency and compliance.Ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with global regulatory standards (FDA EMA ABPI).Support audits inspections and legal consultations as needed.Lead and develop the global clearance and review team.Oversee clearance of all UCB assets worldwide.Implement modular content review strategies to accelerate approvals.Drive integration of AI and automation tools (e.g. SourceClear).Define and track KPIs for review cycle time and stakeholder satisfaction.Partner with senior leaders to align clearance with business priorities.Optimize local clearance processes and global governance.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital innovation.Interested For this role were looking for the following education experience and skillsMasters degree in Life Sciences Pharmacy Medicine or related field.Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical or biotech industry.At least 5 years in global leadership roles.Proven experience in transformation and digital innovation.Deep knowledge of global compliance and regulatory standards.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Demonstrated experience working in a matrix organization.Are you ready to go beyond to create value and make your mark for patients If this sounds like you then we would love to hear from youAbout usUCB is a global biopharmaceutical company focusing on neurology and immunology.
